Hey everyone!
I am wondering if anyone out there has an extra pair of riding boots that I could borrow for a couple days.
I'm a Euro size 43.. or size 10 in women's.
Thanks!

My wife has an old set of Bieffe (yeah, a few years old) that you could have but I just checked and they're a size 40. A bit too small for you.

I might be able to help you out (my wife has a pair that might fit). When do you need them by?

Yes it's true - after 2 years and no riding... I'm going after an endorsement. (Don't let my mom know!!)
My class is April 12 & 13. So I would like to have them in the next week, to make sure they will work.
I don't need to keep them, I just need to borrow them. I'm not above wearing men's boot!
Thanks!

I have 3 pairs in our size. Heck you can have the oldest pair if you want!
PM me for try on details.

Congrats Cindy! Have a wonderful time at the MSF course. I have an older pair of waterproof Euro size 43 Sidi men's boots that I wore when I took the course (in the rain). They're good luck. You're more than welcome to give 'em a try. PM if you're interested.

Thanks everyone!!
Mary brought me a pair that I think will work. I have been wearing them around for the last 10 minutes - so far so good!

Sounds like it's work-related item and required equipment. I think the boss should be issuing them to you for free.:happy57:

What I don't understand is why you need proper boots only to take the MSF course. You'll be riding afterwards, won't you?

I'm with Marv on this one.
I do believe my decent riding boots saved me from a broken foot.

I will also jump on the riding gear band wagon! Please for your sake go out and pick up some good riding boots.

Wow - good luck in the MSF course! Let us know how it goes!!
Seems like you found some boots, but definitely a +1 to investing in a pair or two... I have a pair that are more "touring" and comfortable, and a pair that are more protective but a little less comfy (both are Sidi). Sidi's my choice for bicycling cleats too.

LOL - Thank you guys for all the support. It's so awesome. :)
Don't worry - I will invest in a good pair of everything once I get to that point.
For now, let's just work on me passing the MSF!
