Depending on what forcast you look at the weather may be OK on Thursday! Lets hear a couple ideas for bike night this week . Keep it simple good parking and good food. Maybe a Dicks or the Ivars Salmon House.

I say tacos in Burien (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=taqueria+el+rinconsito&sll=47.467651,-122.34552&sspn=0.00219,0.005681&ie=UTF8&t=h&radius=0.16&split=1&rq=1&ev=zi&hq=taqueria+el+rinconsito&hnear=&ll=47.467604,-122.34552&spn=0.002281,0.005681&z=18&iwloc=A). They have these places all over and are pretty decent.

I'd like to try..(it's also near my daughter's house)...what's the start/finish time? I have to catch the Bain-Sea ferry, so it might be over before I could get there!...Dick's I mean.

Excellent idea. We haven't had one on that end of town to my knowledge. Might be out voted this time, let's wait until later in the summer when I have a street bike.

You can borrow the 998 for some very tasty tacos and horchata. We have a Burger Express here in federal way which has by far the best burgers and shakes.

Please, please---someone in the know give a time frame. I would be coming over from the Bainbridge side, and would hate to get there after everyone has departed (I mean ridden off).

Hey Kevin, how did you like riding around on a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street? :happy44:

Bong, he loved it....I think we need to look at getting a dirt bike/one for grandson as well.....I found your feedback interesting, dirt helps you ride street better....feel free to chime in everyone..does track or dirt help you become a better street rider??? I find myself trying everything the track coaches told me on my track day....

GREAT turnout! It was so nice to meet you all.....Loved Dead Ducs RSVP w "quack".

Note Bongs KTM parked w the ducs....also, Kurts beverage holder....

Sorry for the small pictures, I need to get on Jeremy's advice about the other photo sites.

Hell YAH! I love two strokes! I used to ride a Kaw triple 2 stroke way back in the day.

Anyone have a dirt bike for sale? Been meaning to get one the last couple years and also need a little one to corrupt my 9 YO grandson up at Walker Valley.

I completely forgot about this... until I drove by. I was on the white M696 who honked but didn't stop. I really thought hard about it, but I was heading to meet the wife. I'll get out to one of these, though.

Ring, ding, ding, ding....

(hope you got your headlamp fixed Bong!)

I don't like riding the dirt bike on the street very much, but for me it is a lot easier than using the trailer for 3 miles to the riding area.

I've always thought that riding dirt before street is an excellent idea. I'm convinced it certainly helps the street skills.
I'm certainly a better dirt rider than street rider, but I've totally changed my dirt riding style and I'm still trying to get a handle on it. Nothing like doing a major change after 42 years!

Glad you go it out there Bong!

>Rush:
What size are you looking for? I see them out there pretty often.
For someone that has never ridden dirt I think it is a good idea to start with a smaller, less powerful bike. Used is good too, so if you dump it a bunch it won't really cost you very much.
Check over on the 'Dirty' thread.

Not much chance of me making a Thursday night bike night.
(unless I get my dream job of 'Independently wealthy')

We saw you!....THANKS for beeping,...as a ball and chain myself, I get why she was the priority...My beloved would have blown me off....27 years of marital bliss, yep, 27 looong yrs, (I'll trade him for a dirt bike)...

....note, I didn't get the guy on the Harley who rolled up w all the ducs in any of the shots....

I rode a little dirt when I started riding back in the 70s, but not seriously. I am a big guy 6-4/260 so I'd need to fit on it. But, small, lower powered, and used/cheap would be exactly what I would be looking for for all those reasons. I will look around, but any advice or leads from anyone would be most appreciated since I know very little about what's out there.
