Too many crashes lately, Jeremy's in particular, and a good price at the track today all led me to upgrade my boots.

Not thrilled with the color choice, but I wanted them for Wednesday and I can't pass up a sale!

Tires? Are they important??

2000 miles, plenty of tread. Heat cycles??? 1 real track day at PIR, and then 2 almost track days at Miller. Certainly the 2nd day riding in the rain couldn't have done much to the tires. So I'd say about 1 3/4 track days. I think I should be good. Definately will get new tires next spring.

You never answered all the offers of help? You know I know where you live, so if you need help yanking ugly bent pieces of the SF, just txt me.

glad you were there to give a stamp of approval on the boots. I wouldn't have bought them without a 2nd opinion.

thanks

I saw you meandering about on the Yamahog at PIR this afternoon. I rode there with Cyndy and a couple folks from PNW club. We spent the day there watching the races and BS'ing with all sorts of people. It was a great day.

New Boots! Thanks, Kurt, reminded me of one of my favorite bands that I hadn't listened to in a bit.

Yeah, I saw your groups bikes, but I never saw the gang of people? I was only there for about 3 races. Just time enough to let Greg's dog pee on my pants, and leave $280 with some nice people.

Where did you find those? Curious as I've never heard of them, although the review sounds like they are very good boots.

Why did you pick them over Sidi, A*, Puma, etc?

they were at the track selling them on sale. Think they are last years model. I picked them because
- on sale
- wanted them for wed
- i could try them on and they fit my wide feet (many donít )
- i had greg there to give me expert advice

Would never argue they are better than the brands you listed, but they were right there to be tried and taken away.

Snazzy boots Kurt!

In between sessions and at lunch you could lounge around in these and keep that color scheme going!

I gave up trying to be as stylish as Mark a long time ago. I also have more dirt on my faceshield as mark has on his entire bike. guess I came from the wrong side of the tracks ... :puzzled:

Mark, where can I get those "pit boots" (if of course they are on sale)?

Do you have a birthday coming up?
