April 30th and May 1st will see the Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Association revisit the historic Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA for Round 2 of the 2011 season. Come watch some of the best racers in the Pacific Northwest dice it up on the same asphalt (literally in some places) that saw epic battles between legends like Roberts, Spencer, and Cooley.

Come down Saturday and check out the Taste of Racing program during the lunch hour, more details can be found here: http://www.wmrra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13035
Racing starts at 1pm, featuring all classes of super sport racing as well as the first Novice race of the weekend. For all you Ducati fans, make sure to catch the 650 Super Sport class where Ducati Belllevue's Monster 796 will do battle with a field of Suzuki SV650s. It promises to be quite the race with Brad 'Factory' Delong and the crew at Ducati Bellevue continuing to develop the new Monster.

If youre looking for a day packed with racing action, Sunday is your day. Racing starts at 10:30 and runs until 5pm featuring Vintage classes, Ninja 250 classes, and all the Superbike classes.

The rumbling Desmo V-Twins take to the track after lunch on Sunday with the MudDuc Racing Ducati 996 racing in the Early Heavyweight GP and Open GP Twins. The boys of AnatraCorsa will be running in both Formula Thunder and Open GP Twins. The Canright Construction Ducati 749(ish) ;) will also be racing in Formula Thunder. Ducati Bellevue's Monster 796 will be taking on a strong field of SV super bikes in Lightweight Superbike, the last race before lunch.

Admission is $10 per person or $25 per car-load. Bring some friends and save some cash! Make sure to stop by the AnatraCorsa/MudDuc Racing pit area (Far east side of the paddock) for some Oreos and Beer (in nonvisible containers). Hope to see you all there!

Full schedule can be found here: http://www.wmrra.com/event2.html

Not to mention that Richard will be giving out free Oreo cookies by the truckload. Jake will be accepting bribes for absolution of all sorts of real and imagined sins and the Sedici prototype will be fluffing out the grid in TFS. I'll have the electric tea kettle plugged in, so stop on by, say Hi, pull up a chair, have a spot of tea and watch some of the most incredible road racing action in the PNW. The track goes hot @ 9:00 both Saturday and Sunday with Taste of racing for a paltry $20 each day @ high noon. Hope to see a big crowd of clackity clutches for the festivities.

Will he even remember it's race weekend? :happy57:

Only one way to find out. Hope to see you all this weekend.
