Sorry they're not very good, but neither is the situation. Ducs don't like being in 4th doing 35, but as you can see I had little choice.
I guess Loctite is my new friend :rolleyes:

Dunno what happened. Went to downshift and there was no shifter to be found. I looked down and it was dangling there. There should be a nyloc nut on the back of the screw holding the linkage to the transmission, but that's long gone I guess. Good thing I have a collection of misc hardware :)

Lesson learned - 600 mile service is important!

Perfect time to switch to GP shifting.

I agree. GP shift is the only way to go. One day if you like you can take mine out for a spin to test it out.

Hahaha, cool Torben. =) That happened to me on my 748 on the track in Spokane. For a moment I was really confused when I tried to click up coming onto the front straight and there was nothing there. Looked down and saw the same thing! Needless to say my next half-lap was reaalllyy slow.

Hmm, I've been using loctite but now that I'm really thinking about it maybe I'll drill and wire those suckers!
