What ever I caught,it must be air-borne, Kurt and I have never been that close!

Well anyway, I went to the new, but temporary digs for Ducati Bellevue yesterday. I put down a deposit on the upcoming 1199 S Tricolore. I was planning to give myself one for my
70th birthday Dec. of next year. Then I thought why wait till then? It's not like getting it earlier would spoil the surprise and I would miss having it for next Summer's riding season.

Now I just have to wait and ride my now overweight and underpowered 1198s.

Excellent !! Hope they do a nice job with the paint scheme .
I agree, us old farts shouldn't wait for anything, just do it!

Way to go Bronston! Let me know if you need me to ride that underpowered, old 1198S for you (when it warms up).

Unfortunately, my wife keeps me well sheltered from such terrible airborne infections.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Now I have to wait and drool! Well, April is usually a bummer IRS and all of that. The 1199 will give April a makeover. Wheee!

In the end I might have a super bike with a sissy bar as a rack for my walker. Whenever I light up the Duc, I'm twenty five again, at least until something starts hurting.

No date yet, but I hope before summer. I'm number four but don't know if others are tricolores.

Maybe I missed read estimates as date. Price is uncertain but if the Tricolore is too expensive I can downgrade.

Bronston - congrats on your decision. Buying a bike like that is the best way. You have the excitement now, and then again when it arrives. It's like buying 2 bikes for the price of one....well....in your case a 1198s Tri-colore might still be the cost of 2 bikes, but what a bike !!!! Way to go!
