Since it drives my gf crazy to watch these at home and Norm's is right down the street I'm thinkin of catching it this Sunday over there if they are still showing races. Anyone else interested?

That'd be cool. What time is it? I have to drop my wife at the airport at about 10:30 so hopefully after that!

Cool deal Jeremy! Should be a good one, even if it's essentially a race for 2nd place

Where is Norms located? I live near the two of you and might be interested in joining you to watch the races.

I know Mike W. the bar manager had to go out of town. So they might not be decked out in DNW propaganda, but I bet they still would love to have y'all come in. Steve and Julie the owners are great people and their staff is happy to take care of us two wheel fanatics.

Drink a bloody mary for me. I'm having my 10 yr. old nephew over for the race. I caught him wearing a...gasp....Nascar ballcap the other day. He needs help, fast. The Corkscrew ought to help. :evilgrin3

Good deal Nathan, I think we've got a nice turnout planned to watch(a few other friends and acquaintances will be showing up). Even though some may not be DNW members do you know if they'd still be entitled to a 10% knockoff the tab? (no hooligans, just nice GP enthusiasts & wannabe Duc owners ;) )

I'm not sure Eddy, worth a try though. Just casually mention it when the server is nearby. Have fun, wish me luck on the re-programming of my nephew.

Wish I didn't have so much going on that day, but still glad I could at least catch the Laguna race w/ you guys! JD, Jeremy, Brandon and family(so many ppl there I wasn't sure who was who!) it was great to see ya guys. Race turned out a little different than what I expected but a great one nonetheless.

*btw, Norm's panko fish and chips own!

Ya...that was a lot of fun...first time I'd ever been to Norms. Did we meet Eddy? I apologize if we did and I forgot...I'm REALLY bad with names! I think I remembered 2 peoples names out of everyone there! :o Good with faces though so I'm sure I'll see ya at the picnic!

:o (crawls under desk) :o

Man...I gotta get better at remembering names! Whenever I meet several people at once most of the names go in one ear and out the other! :( The only names I remembered yesterday were Greg (but I've talked to him on DML quite a bit) and Brian (who knows why ??).

I owe you a beer or two!!

haha no worries Jeremy, happens all the time..i'm used to it :happy57: Did you stick around for the AMA superbike race? Heard it was a good one ;)

Jeremy

Ya...it was a nice ending for sure. The race itself wasn't all that exciting though...same with the GP I thought. There were a couple good passes in each, but the leaders just got out in front and pulled away. Edwards' pass on Rossi was pretty good though!

Yea I hear ya, I wasn't too hot on the GP race. Expected more fireworks. I guess we missed the race to watch which was the Supersports that were right before the GP. Heard that one was awesome!

(whoops! maybe should add to the title thread this has turned to SPOILERS galore!)
