View Full Version : List one word to describe your Ducati

ducmons

If you could use one word to describe your bike, or your experience on the bike, or why you ride a Ducati, what would it be?

It can be in any language, but if it is please translate it. Keep it to one or two words if you can, but if inspiration hits, let it rip and share it with us.

Kokoro-

ironically a Japanese term. Specifically a pre-WWII term whose definition is hard to pinpoint. But translated in literal terms "heart"

or Zensho II says it better

My heart and mind
is your heart and mind,
your heart and mind
is my heart and mind.
It's not
that I become you---
it's this heart and mind
in which you become me.

It's just you. You have to understand that the people I've met as part of this group are so creative, have a strong sense of romanticism, or are just plain strange (sorry, Wolf, but you are weird you know). Gayest? Who knows? Who cares? Is that really a term? I think this is kind of fun, and interesting.

Two words I guess: Learning process

Since I have to learn all the ins and out still...but am getting better (Thanks flyingducman!!)Forgot to mention, when we were talking track-days, that one of the better track-day providers has a free :happy44: 'introductory' deal that will allow you two twenty-minute sessions around-the-track in the beginner/novice class. The two sessions are the first two of-the-day and there's no obligation...you don't even have to give credit card info, nothing.

So see if there's space still available for the upcoming event on April 22nd and 23rd. Most of our DOC members will ride on the Sunday event, typically. It's usually less crowded, but who knows. If not, sign-up for an event later-in-the-year.

Here's the linkus...NESBA 'intro' freebie track-time (http://www.nesba.com/info/intro.aspx)

Thanks... I think. It just goes to show, displacement is only half the equation. :evilgrin3 I even had my wife on the back; who now wants to kick my a$$. When I told her how fast we were going on the 405/90 interchange she almost killed me. I need to adjust the rear shock before I go two-up again.
