I lucked out and one of the guys at a local (Olympia) dealership isn't going so we transferred hotel reservations!

Leonard and I have made tentative plans to trailer the bikes down so we can ride into Ducati Island. We could put two more people in the room (maybe one I've got a friend who tentatively said he'd go).

Anyone else going July 21-24?

Don't have tickets and I would drive everyone crazy around me if I couldn't shoot it.

I am on it like a box of chocolate ! Give me a call 206-660-6428. I already have arrangements, but maybe we can optimize both plans.

Little Mario and I are going down again this year. We have no where to stay, but will try to camp somewhere or even sleep in bath tubs if we have to. But the important thing is that we will be there....Is it July yet?

i have never been to an event like that. I would very much like to go, but will just have to see how my everything falls into place. I guess I should start talking to the wife about being gone for a few days. That just sounds like fun. A few days with some guys watching bikes fly by at high speeds.... (*sigh....day dreaming)

If you can swing it GO!!!! I was there last year with pit passes and everything. Me and my buddy were standing about 200 ft from start/finish when Nicki took the checkered flag.
Ducati Island is way cool and gave us water bottles and a few other goodies.
If you ride in it is much better as traffic is a nightmare!!!!

I'll be down there. Plan on riding down the coast (taking three days to get there)...Then don't know which route we will be taking home...Haven't figured that out yet. I know that coming home up the superslab (I-5) was brutally Hot last year. Can't wait to go!!!

Rode my ZX11 down last year and it was a blast, one of the best trips ever. But when I purchased the bike this year promised the wife no long trips this year. Wish I was going though!

If anyone is interested in having their bike trailered down, the guys at Cascade tracktime (www.cascadetracktime.com) are offering this service for ~$249.00 (229 + 20 for Seattle pu/del) per bike picked up in Seattle and delivered back to Seattle. The only catch on the 20 bucks extra for Seattle delivery, is they need 6 bikes from Seattle or the number of folks split $120.00 charge for Sea - Portland trip.
I have 2 in this party and I have inquired to Cascade about how many reservations they have already.
