I'd like to volunteer to lead a "Blast-to-the-PASS" BBQ ride.

We would meet at Tully's at 8:00 AM this Sunday, leave at 8:30 and head thru Issaquah, out the Issaquah-Hobart Road to Hwy 18. We would wait for any 'delayed' members at Hwy 18.

As a complete group we would enter Hwy 18 and head up Tiger Mountain Summit to I-90. We'll then take I-90 (70 mph speed limit) to Snoqualmie Summit, stop for a quick break/rest (get Tully's out of your system :happy57: ).

We'll then return via I-90 taking exit 31 thru North Bend to Hwy 202. We'll head North on 202 toward Snoqualmie Falls (stop at Falls if there's interest?) and into Fall City.

Then take Preston-Fall City Rd back to I-90 and back to the Park for the BBQ.

It would be more of a scenic route, and a sane, mellow, very close to the speed-limit ride and a public statement of Ducatisti unity to the public as numerous Ducs thunder up the Pass :happy44: !

If you can't make it an all day event with the BBQ you're welcome to join us for just the ride.

Yousef is spearheading the "official" picnic rides. Be sure to include him in any planning.

should be a fun day!!No problem, and I hope the route will satisfy most members interests.

There'll be some twisties, plenty of straights, some great scenery and a four lane wide stretch of pavement with a 70 MPH speed-limit :happy44: !

If the ride is officially 'approved' I don't think there'll be a need to sign-up for this one since we'll be meeting at 8:00 to 8:30 AM.

Rides should probably be kept to an hour or two...you don't want to miss the food and fun. or the bike show!

This route would take 2 to 2.5 hours. So we'd be back at BBQ by 11:00 in plenty of time for grubbin'!

It's on the Lake side of I-90 on your way to the Park. It's the first right turn after passing over the freeway. Can't miss it, big sign.

Is there going to be a fuel stop somewhere in the middle of the morning ride? I'll make sure to be topped off when I get there of course but my Duc only gets about 100 miles before she's thirsty again. :happy57:

I've got a commitment this weekend but will try to make it the BBQ by early afternoon. If there is an afternoon ride I would be into, provided i don't do too much damage to myself Saturday night in the woods.

Are you ready for the big day!

Meet after 8:00 AM at Tully's leave around 8:30. Roads should be free of traffic and hopefully nice and dry :happy44: .

What time is someone going to be at the park for setup? I don't want to have to lug around my stuff around on the ride.

You should be fine leaving your stuff there just before the ride. I'll probably ride down with a group from KK in Tacoma and we'll check-out the site before Tully's.

The Tully's we're meeting at is the one in the strip mall we bought food/drink at last year during the BBQ right?

The Tully's we're meeting at is the one in the strip mall we bought food/drink at last year during the BBQ right?Ducmons just posted the address. It's on the same side of I-90 as the Park. In fact if you leave the park and head North toward the main Issaquah on-ramp to I-90 you'll see the Tully's sign when you come to the stop light. From the stop light you would take a right to get back to I-90.

After exiting I-90 and heading toward the Park Tully's is on your right, the park would be a left.

You shouldn't miss it.
