Yesterday I got my new Afam 42 tooth rear sprocket...three teeth over OEM. I can't wait to get it on. When I do I'll post a report with my findings.

Did you get a new chain to go with that too? I'm thinking of doing the same thing but I've been told you need a longer chain to make things fit nicely....

Oh, uh, errr no I didn't. I'll test fit and if there's not enough slack then <snaps fingers> I guess I'll have to do a 520 X-ring conversion and get a Cycle Cat c/s sprocket cover while I'm at it. Dang. =) I'll post a report when I've determined if a new chain is needed or not.

:D That's the way to think! Hey, where'd you get your sprocket anyways? Why'd you choose the one you did? Inquiring minds want to know.

It's a 42 tooth AFAM steel sprocket from Ca. Cycleworks.
