FWIW - Finally mounted the GPS and verified my speedo accuracy on my S2R 1000: 60 mph indicated is actual 55.8 with OEM tires.

I've heard that most speedo's report at about +10% and what you posted seems to match up with that.

on the 749 speedo 101, GPS 82... Horrible!

Wow, was your 749 really that far off?

I've often heard a 10% error cited as well.

speedo said 155 when the gps recorded 140 during spring ride II. that's a pretty consistent 10% delta.
