Hey Bones, when are your shots going to be up???

Love the shot with Mario waving his hand

Ditto. I really liked that one. I wish I'd shot it myself.. :)

BTW. mine will be up soon.. really.. I'm processing the DNW2004 images now.. biggest holdup was the website construction itself. Once I fix some issues with my PHP everything will start showing up.

I too am anxious to see Bone's pics from Friday... credit card at the ready!

Grinding grinding grinding. I took too many shots at NESBA the weekend prior so I am down to the last 50 of those pics to process and post. I am staying here at the office tonight probably until 10pm to work on pics and keep a fast web connection to post them. The NESBA shoot I hope to have done within the afternoon and then it is all Adrenaline Freaks to work on. I have pretty much finished the scanning through of the Adrenaline Freaks shoot to find the "Dear-God-What-Was-I-Thinking" shots.

Torben which bike were you on?
Holeshot did you have the yellow Duc with yellow tape over the lights?

Torben
09-22-2004, 11:11 AM
Yeah I know you took a wad of pics and I know what goes into the processing of it.
I was on the Dark 749 with red frame and wheels.

Sadly yes I'm embarrassed to say that's me :o

Bones
09-22-2004, 12:33 PM
Sorry if that is not an image you like of yourself, it is just the first one I saw that I thought was you. Yes I have shots of you in 9 and in 3

Torben
09-22-2004, 12:36 PM
Hey don't get me wrong - it's nothing to do with you; it's all about me and not being up to par. I'm a bit self critical over here  Some people can probably expand on that self-critique

Nice picture Bones. I think T is obsessing. He looks good there. Ahh...by any chance did you get any shots of me. Silver R6, yellow number plate #908?

Bones
09-22-2004, 01:01 PM
Ah DJS, do I have pictures of you. I even have your wipe out in Turn 2 a while back.

Oh, Oh, what about the other Dark 749... :) You know, the guy ~passing~ Torben through the straights... <dig> Just playin' with you Torben. :D

That'd be me with the deer in the headlights look you posted on turn 3. Got any more flattering shots?

Torben
09-22-2004, 01:14 PM
yeah, yeah I know you passed me as did Leo. I'm not happy about that but that's just a matter of rider skill. Besides, Bones already put up a pic of you staring right at him in a corner

DarkDuc I don't know what it is with you man, but I swear I have about 4 pics of you looking at me...maybe it's because I have the long hair or something :)

Honestly though, yes I do have some good shots of you without the deer in headlights look

DJS, who was riding your 908 bike at the end of the day?

Bones
09-22-2004, 01:59 PM
Holeshot, that is still a bit small and there were a couple of yellow 996's out there (I think, don't shoot me). Which helmet was yours? The yellow and red one or the one with the checkerboard?

Nope.. but it sure looked like people we taking pics of me straifing turns 3/4. Yellow 998 with black tape on the lights, black/yellow leather jacket, tinted visor, not yellow helmet. :)

I look more like this:

Who else was out there shooting pics out by turns 6 & 7 ?? Was that part of you group Bones or was that someone else?

Bones

Sorry Bones doesn't play well with others, I was shooting alone.

I have some more of you from when I was shooting from the high side of 3.

My buddy Shawna with the the magenta hair took 5 or 6 rolls, I'll give her a ring and see if I can get her on.

Holeshot, that was me with the tape, I love that stuff, available at PG&L, I think it stands for pacific grip and lighting located off I-5 at the south end of Boeing field.

Any shots of me? I'm the girl.

Squidley
09-22-2004, 06:33 PM
Shawna says she won't have them back till Fri. I can't wait! She had a heck of a lens.

Well, I am jealous, too. :) Where's mine? Dark Monster, Dark suit, Black helmet, black boots. The Darth Vader looking guy who, yes, passed Torben just before Turn 1 on his 620... :)

Bones
09-23-2004, 12:46 PM
I'll post some if you can give me a little more info....perhaps a sample of your and your bike. Alot of black out there on the track.

and...ummm...I want in on some of your photoshoots :) There is a link on my main page that I have failed to fill in, but I do some model photography.

The track day was indeed a blast. I missed my 999, but the ST4 fared pretty well. BTW, the new Michelen Power's seem to be a great tire. I had a brand new set on the bike for Friday.

Lindsey, did I hear you had a slight mishap?

Charon, I just figured out your quote was linked to an article by HST. Very cool. What's that from?

Thanks, man. :) You are an inspiration. Just slowly getting used to riding it, and still have lots to learn. DJS said my butt is "firmly planted" on the seat. LOL

BTW, Bones, did you get some of the sparks flying when my pipes touched down? :)

Lindsey, did I hear you had a slight mishap?

yep, mishap sounds better than "crash." had a little get-off in the bustop on the last session of the day -- i locked the front braking into the corner and it tucked, hard. i was working on my times through the bustop and had just put some new, unfamilar tires on (michelins.) oops.

maybe bones has some incriminating photos...

i can't shirk my responsibility and totally blame the tires, but my old pirellis stuck a lot better on the front to me (the michelin rear seemed a bit better though.)

i think the real problem was the load of BB's that bong laid down behind him to foil me.
