Wow that is a nice trailer!

Mine is a modest 6x12 that I will try to set up for 3 bikes.

Regan had a really nice Logan Coach (http://www.logancoach.com/Trailers/silvereaglegallery/silvereaglegallery.html) he put his 1098R in, maybe he has a photo of the inside of that? The stock photos look nice but his had some extra goodies in it that seem noteworthy.

Great idea, too bad they don't have the 1098 on the list yet...

Note: The "Ducati single sided swing arm" listing excludes the Ducati 1098

Bong,

I have an extra military grade rail on Shaw. The piece is about 8' long, heavy duty. (same stuff they tie down tanks with on transports)

You could chop it up into 1' pieces and place them around the trailer for multiple tie down points. In case you ever need to haul something else besides bikes, it's very handy to have. One drawback, they are military green color. You could powder coat them and they would look sharp.

I like these as well, but they stick up too much. If you could recess the floor they would fit great though.

if you do a bit of digging they do work for the 1098

Thanks Scott - I had been looking for something like this. Now I can tie down two dirtbikes in the bed of the truck :) (once they are installed that is).

Cheers, Robert

Cheers, RobertWithout running a tiedown through the spokes of the front wheels. :happy44:

I mounted the plates about 80mm back from the front of the bed and on the same line as the front position of two bikes. I'll post a pic if needed.

Ask and you shall receive.

I added four mounts, two front, two off the back corners of fender wells.

Also, since my '05 Tundra double cab bed is only 6' deep and won't fully close when transporting bikes, I went to the dealer and picked up two cable mounting studs ($6) and installed them on the rear pillars so the tailgate can be positioned at a 45* angle to retain gear. The stock studs are just below the latch plates.

clever set up. why the 45 angle an not a bed extender cage?

clever set up. why the 45 angle an not a bed extender cage?$6 and 15 minutes vs. $265. Us Blugenian's don't have Seattlites revenue stream, pot gardens is about as close as we come :happy57: Besides, the 45* setting adds down force.

I used e-track in my 6x12. It gives great flexabilty for hauling track bikes, dirt bikes, furniture, even HDs :scared10: . I bought it at Freeway Trailer Sales in Milton.

Did you get what you needed? Are you looking for full length tracks or smaller pieces?

Yes, Minger came through for Mark and I - he was able to purchase etrack from his company. We're going to pick it up sometime this week!
