Does anyone have experience with either of these? Any preference?

I don't have the 4V edition (wouldn't be much use w/ my bike... :happy57: ) but I've got the Desmodue manual from LT Snyder... I use it more than my Ducati Shop Manual. Very handy book to have, lots of good tips and notes on working on the various components of the bike. I'd recommend it to anybody... and assume that the Desmoquattro edition is equally useful and well-written.

I'm looking for a service manual for my ss800. Where did you get yours? DucSea?

I got my Ducati service manual for my 900 off a classified site or Ebay, can't remember. But it was only about $40 for it, which is awesome. Got the DesmoDue manual direct from LT's site, Desmotimes (http://www.desmotimes.com/) . Motowheels carries them, and I *THINK* I remember seeing them at DucSea once as well... check w/ Dave R & the crew on that though.
