HA!
If it was a true 'drift' he would have BOTH tyres sliding! (I can do it in the dirt, but not so sure I want to make a habit of it on the pavement!)

The question is.......Did he stay on the throttle?

If you look @ the tire mark it is straight and consistent, rider is still looking through the corner and appears comfortable on bike. Appears to be on the throttle and in full control of the machine. Check out some Of Mitchell Pierces vids on u-tube. ..............and no, that won't be me this season! I have enough trouble staying on the bike when it's slow and upright.

:+1: Looks like it's fractions of a second before a nasty high-side.

I'd love to see if he made it. I've seen the Pierce video...and I have Ruben Xaus' Hypermotard poster hanging on my garage wall. I'm not saying he can't make it...but he looks stiff to me, and he's damn near at full lock...if not there already...:scared10:

Plus...he appears to have duct tape on his headlights, possibly indicating a somewhat inexperienced trackday rider. You'd think anyone good enough to pull that out would have a dedicated track bike. Maybe not though.

Cool picture either way though!
