This is how I've dreamed of the SF exhaust looking. What you guys think?

Nice job. I like it...I've always liked the under tail pipes. That being said, I think the stock SF configuration looks good, also. It's unique.

Now that would be a street fighter that might tempt me to trade my monster although I would seriously miss my HP. :happy57:

that tail is off a 1098/1198 along with the subframe. There are a lots of electronics to fit under there so it may be a tight fit...

We would love to set something like this up for someone :jumping41

pretty good thinking from those Borgo Panigale fella's to make it compatible like that :cool2:

is that a carbon fiber tank on the black bike? the blacked out forks add an interesting dimension to the look as well.

not sure about the tank although it looks like they blacked out the decal too.. I like the Rizoma rearsets and all the blacked out bits.. Look like BST wheels as well!! I like the looks of this bike!

I really like the underseat exhaust. I don't care so much for the other one shown.

I was thinking the Leo Vince cans I have on the Multi would look great on the SF.

We have one across the street with the wheels and exh off.. come down and hold up the exhaust to see what it may look like.. Wheels go on next week..

Me likey.Me, too. It looks wicked, downright barbaric, sort of madmaxian.

If it's mix and match type of thing I would definitely go for the swap...that's the way the SF should have come in the first place. What do you say Dave?

My brain is racing with ideas already.. I don't think it would be that hard. Do you have a spare tail laying around ? Maybe a race tail would work better if there is more room.. We may have a 1098 full exh laying around off one of our race bikes... Subframe available to try..
Stop in and let's talk.. What would a 1098 looks like with dual side exh now ??

I have most of a race tail- but probably wouldn't be much help unless a damaged other one came along.

Dave, It sounds like you can put this together! I'd love to see if it's an option for the SF out of your showroom. May just put me over the top

Would the underseat exhaust fit with minor mods and the stock tail?
Just thinking...

Where did you find this pic? I'd like to contact them to see where they put the DTC, battery and regulator. This set up is exactly how I envisioned the SF should have come from the factory. Thanks

Bong I see the Ducati Berlin sticker on the frame. Maybe Robert can call them and see what they know? I am certain it can be done with minimal effort.. just start gathering parts!! I would just go with one of those new SBK batteries that are tiny... the DTC must sit in it's original position.

Roger that - I'll ping them to find out how they made all the pieces fit in the tail. I think this will be my next bike :)

Cheers, Robert

Motowheels has a high pipe exhaust that looks promising.

Found the pic on ducati.ms SF section. Ducati Berlin would be the one's to call on this. I'm interested to hear the outcome

OK - Just spoke to Ducati Berlin - Unfortunately they can't give us pictures yet as it will be published in PS in September... But we'll be able to get them once published. Here some highlights:

-70mm Termi exhaust
- PCIII
- Standard 1098 subframe
- 1098 seat unit
- a ton of Rizoma stuff and carbon fiber goodies

and...

- an 1198 engine :)

They managed to get all the electronics and battery under the seat unit. We'll see how when we get the pictures.

Excellent detective work Robert - better start gathering parts!

We already have the exhaust (minus the slip-ons) - add the race subframe to the 1098s and take the 1098 one for the SF :)
Only thing missing is the PCIII and a bunch of small parts that will surely create some headaches why trying to put it together.

Sounds like a great project!

Bring it on over when the weather changes and lets do the mods.
