So as many of you know I recently built up a track Yamaha R6. Well I just sold that (not a huge Japanese bike fan after riding one alot). I think a couple of you know what is coming but what could be in the box.....

Keep posted for updates and mods. The package should be here Thursday of next week!

and having raced against a 675 I would never call that bike to small although I realize that the riding position doesn't meet your criteria.

Can't wait to see pics! That single sided exhaust is the best one made for the bike IMO.

Congrats!
You will love the exhaust. I have the titanium one and I was considering having it ceramic coated. Is that what you had done?
The tank is awesome also. My reserve light went on at 218 miles yesterday and I put 5.8 gallons in. I probably had a good 30 miles left in the tank.
The next project will be the seat. Have you thought about that yet? I thought that a thousand miles in about a month would make me get used to it but to no avail.
You will LOVE the bike!

blue duc:

I had the pipes on my 748 ceramic coated and I highly recommend it. I just polished these ones but there is a ceramic coating that is a polish look. Performance Coatings in Auburn. Highly Recommended.

The bike also already has the DP comfort seat on it which I hear is a big improvement.

scott:

don't think I will be able to make it to that ride. My GF and I are having a housewarming party on Sunday and we have to get ready for that. You never know though...

marty:

backstory on the bike is I am buying it from the original owner who bought it as a demo bike. Only 1800 mi and got it for a screaming deal. Dad works for a shipping company so he gets a huge hookup in that area. It is coming from Michigan. I was having trouble finding a black one in the area and this amazing deal came up and I had to jump on it.

The bike needs a steering stabilizer very badly. Looks like I know what I will be saving for now...
