R and biposto don't go together in my mind. :(

Hell, "S" & biposto don't go together for that matter. Until the 848/1098, all S models were mono only with a nice light aluminum subframe & a pretty rear # plate. I was kind of pissed when they went away from that

On the same note, I just saw an ALUMINUM bip subframe for the 848/1098/1198 on ebay. Someone from Europe was selling it. It appeared factory but I'm not sure what model it came off of if it was OEM.

Hell, I don't think superbike and biposto go together. Uncomfortable as hell for the passenger, and you have to be crazy to push a bike fast with a 150 pound blob sitting up high on the back (not that your lovely sig other is a blob!)

It all depends on who you're riding with. The first time I was ever on a bike traveling faster than 160 mph, I was on Mike Sullivan's bike. With Mike Sullivan. It was comfy enough.
