Where can I rent a truck to tow a trailer?

I need to tow my boat from the SeaRay dealer to Lake Washington and my friend who used to have a tow truck left the country recently so now I am stuck with trying to rent something. It seems that most of the big rental companies do not allow you to tow with their trucks - does anyone know of a place I can hire a truck that I can tow with?

Hey UK try Handy Andy on Aurora. If that doesn’t work I could help you out depending on the day and what type of storage you are looking for. I can’t backup so good with a little trailer let alone a boat.

Thanks for the info and the offer DJS - I'll check out Handy Andy. My friend (co-owner of the boat) has been thinking about buying a tow truck for the boat and to have it for getting my bike to tracks - would be useful but not sure I want to lay out a ton of money right now on another vehicle! If this proves expensive, it may be worth considering though. I used to be able to borrow my mate's truck for gas money - those days have gone

Thanks for the offer Bong You are dying to try a 749s out on the track aren't you I'm actually gonna rent a pickup for getting the bike to the track - I am still in two minds about whether to go Saturday or Sunday - maybe I'll go Saturday. If anyone needs help getting their bike to the track, I may have room in whatever I hire for another bike if they want to share costs. Kamran was going to share but I think he is taking his street bike for this first session which he will ride down.

What size boat you got? I tow my jeep when I go wheelin' regularly. Be glad to lend you a hand if our schedules match up. Have a 3/4 Ton Diesel that will tow about anything. Pretty good with trailers and backing up. -

Thanks for the generous offer Ducmons! The boat is actually being repaired at the moment after partially sinking itself for no good reason I can discern The shop towed it out and hopefully they will drop it off, but I may be in need of a tow in the future. I actually was lucky this time as another friend towed the boat from the dealer for me for free - he happened to be visiting at the time with his 4x4.
